Although it varies according to the regions, an average of 2,500 seeds are planted per decare (1000 m2). In greenhouse production, 2,100 seedlings are planted. Harvest starts after 40-45 days in open field and 30-35 days in greenhouses. Harvesting is predominantly done by hand. In Gherkin Cucumber, which has a sensitive production process, a very good soil preparation, fertilization should be done and care should be taken to preventive spraying with licensed pesticides.
